How to use your smudge stick :

• Holding the smudge stick by the “handle” end, use a lighter to ignite the tip. Blow out any open flames so that the leaves slowly smoulder. You can also crush its leaves and put them on a burning charcoal tablet on a safe surface and relax as your space is cleared of negative energy.

• The ritual of sage smudging and purification is intension-based. One does not have to perform the process exactly. In fact, different Native American cultures may vary the process from tribe to tribe. Know that if your heart is pure, the effort and intention will be enough.
